how to take care of your lashes

Our strip lashes are made with top quality materials to ensure you're getting as much use out of your lashes as possible. They should last you between 10-30 uses if you take care of them properly.
Our mink lashes are delicate but durable. Please be gentle with them.
APPLICATION
When you receive your lashes and you're ready to wear them, remove them from the tray carefully without tugging on the lashes directly.
Before application, trim a tiny bit off both ends of your lash to remove any sharp ends. "Fit" your lash against your lash line to see if you need to trim any excess. If your lashes seem a bit long always trim from the outer corner to keep your lashes looking cute. Once they're trimmed to your lash line length, you're ready to apply them.
PRO TIP : Apply mascara before applying your lashes to get more uses out of your lashes before washing. Now is when we recommend curling your lashes and applying mascara.
I always recommend using the blue label duo glue if you're new to lashes & don’t know what kind of glue to use! Place a thin layer of glue on the band & let the glue dry 30-40 seconds to allow to become tacky. Use either your fingers or a tweezer to place the strip lash onto your eyelashes, as close to your lash line as possible. Continue to push the lash towards your lash line and hold it in place once you get it right between your lashes and lash line. When still slightly tacky, use your fingers or the applicator to pinch your natural lashes together with the strip lash.
Now they should be good to go and they won't be budging anytime soon. Remember, lashes take time and practice to apply!
When you're ready to remove, do so carefully. Pull at the band and not the lashes. Remove some of the glue residue or leave it on if there's not that much, i find this is a personal preference thing. Make sure once you take them off you place them back in the box for storage. This will keep them dust free.
CLEANING
Cleaning is different for both our synthetic and mink styles. With our synthetic styles you can cleanse them however you'd like, avoiding oil and alcohols. Synthetic styles can be soaked in water!
If cleaning is needed on our mink styles, avoid soaking! Use a tiny bit of oil free micellar water or tap water on a q-tip with gentle pressure to rub any mascara or glue off the band and any makeup build up on the lash. Remember to be careful not to overly wet your lashes with any product you choose to use. If you choose to soak or wet them anyways you may see some lash hairs shedding, or the curl will flatten out and your lashes will no longer have a fluffy curl. You can easily fix this by using a lash curler and curling them multiple times, but it is best to avoid water when possible. They will not look the same but they will still be nice and still usable.
